day 45: Brainstorming, a Brai & goodByes

had some time for planning & prayer this morning with bruce & sheri (xhosa student ministry team leaders), specifically for the upcoming week. we'll be team-teaching with sarah & michal all week in classes & after-school clubs.

we spent the afternoon tagging along with bruce & sheri running errands & getting to know some of the secrets of cape town. they introduced us to a store called macro (similar to a sam's or costco) & a really affordable fruit & vegetable market, too!
something just doesn't add up...
we picked up a drink for the cookout & right before checking out we realized someone had opened it up & helped themselves already!
so kind of them to put it back on the shelf.
This. Is. Africa.

tonight we had a brai (south african cookout) with the gardner-webb team & had a time to debrief with them before they head back to the states tomorrow!

Be sure you check water bottles too- that was a problem in China- people with street carts selling re-filled water bottles. Nas-ty!
