i've had several people ask what exactly we do. honestly, that's a loaded question.
for the sake of brevity i will simply say this:
1. we teach life orientation classes during the school day as a platform to get us into the schools (as this is a part of their curriculum anyway)
2. we do after-school clubs where we disciple students in the afternoons
3. all the while seeking out nationals w/ a passion for young people to train, team-teach w/ & then leave in place to continue the work when the Lord leads us elsewhere
& all this is done w/ the end goal of reaching the massive # of xhosa youth in cape town.
today we discussed several really exciting things:
- we received the LO curriculum schedule for term 3 which is starting next month. so now over the next few weeks during our "down time" we can solidify plans for classes

- we PRAYed over 3 local pastors & 1 principal who have all expressed a heart for young people & an interest in partnering w/ the work
so YOU can PRAY for these community leaders, too! nationals catching the vision of the kingdom is what it's all about!
