day 70: let the chaos begin!

today officially marked the beginning of what will be about a month & a half or so of absolute chaos. with new personnel now here (us + 1 more coming july 6) & a few soon leaving (the jgirls on july 26) as well as some other unexpected "curve balls," we've got quite the fruit basket turnover happening. our entire team met today & began cleaning & shuffling apartments, houses, furniture & cars all at the same time.

on top of all of that is the fact that:

1. the fairview baptist church volunteer team arrives in a few weeks to do CAMP (remember to be PRAYing w/ us in advance!)

2. we will jump-start term 3 of the school year where we will be working in 4 schools (our team as a whole in 6)

3. & the same week we start teaching on our own, sarah & i finally move into our final "home."

all i can say is PLEASE PRAY!!!!

PRAY that despite all that's going on logistically here for our team, we will keep THE MAIN THING THE MAIN THING...that we will all continue to ABIDE in the Word & the presence of the Father daily for apart from Him we can do NOTHING (john 15).

PRAY that we will REMAIN FOCUSED on the task at hand (not merely surviving in a foreign context but THRIVING in ministry). the Lord is doing INCREDIBLE things here & the enemy wants to distract!!
