part 1: my stupidity
today i got so excited at the grocery store when i found pretzels. not just any pretzels...but pretzels that came in fun shapes!! i was in a hurry but still managed to waste a good 60-seconds deciding on which two shapes to purchase.
it wasn't until i got home that i realized, the shapes weren't the only abnormality.
i bought chutney & sweet chilli flavored pretzels.
note to self: read the fine print.
(& this isn't the first time it's happened here...)
part 2: lesson learned
how often do we get caught up in the big picture to the neglect of the "fine print?!" for the last few months we've been thinking & PRAYing about the big picture of ministry here. but now, it's crunch time. now, it's time to focus on the details. they are both equally important!! don't believe me? try the pretzels. & yes, i did learn that from some pretty terribly-tasting pretzels!! :)
PRAY with us that we are able to maintain a balance between remaining focused on the big picture without overlooking necessary "details"/planning.
PRAY with us that we are able to maintain a balance between resting in the knowledge that His plans will come to pass + taking on our responsibility in the task at hand!
