day 151: last minute lock-in

so i missed a day of updating in the midst of absolute madness!! friday afternoon around 3pm i was asked to fill-in for a friend at a youth girls' "lock-in" that night. needless to say, i jumped at the opportunity...but i wasn't the least bit prepared! what was a great surprise to me, though, was not a surprise in the least to the Father. i got the chance to hang with 8-8th/9th grade girls for the next 24+hrs & we had a great time playing games, digging into the Word, watching movies, eating & laughing far too much...talking, crafting & ice skating. notice i didn't mention sleeping?! i think i reached a new level of exhaustion this weekend haha...good times! didn't take a single picture the whole time, though. will have to add one later as i'm sure some will show up soon!
