day 185: slow down.

today was a day all about slowing down & resting. we spent much of today in PRAYer. postponed our morning meeting (an oh-so-appreciated gift from our friend) so that we could sleep in a few extra hours. then spent some time together at a nearby coffee shop at the foot of the mountain discussing a study we're going through in preparation for camp next march. as we sat on the balcony, i laughed when i saw a car parked right in front of us with the license plate that read "PRAY 1st." it was parked there the whole time, but of course i didn't notice it until the question, "what do we do with what we've learned" was posed. haha...such a sweet God moment for me! so PRAY is what we did.

ran some errands this afternoon before heading to fellowship over dinner with the rest of our team. spent some more time PRAYing over "C" before she heads back to china tomorrow night. we are the Body & i hope that tonight you will join us in lifting up our brothers & sisters literally spread out around the world.
