day 197: bent out of shape

had a long, but great day today. headed to siyazakha primary for our 5 LO classes where we talked about bad choices & how they affect our lives. got to see mama "r" again (who we spent the whole weekend with). she had proudly brought with her to school both her certificate as well as the curriculum.

the kids are showing great hunger for Truth there & asking a lot of great questions. because of those questions, in 2 of the 5 classes today we were able to story through a passage from matthew 18. the kids are asking how & why we are to forgive people - especially when they do incredibly hurtful things that affect us (like abuse, rape or kill). peter asked Jesus a similar question pertaining to forgiveness & Jesus responded with a story. using a handful of students we had them act Jesus' story out...& they did an incredible job!

spent the entire afternoon running errands - still catching up from the weekend. had dinner at our supervisor's house & she concocted a chick-fil-a-like peppermint chocolate shake! always the small things!!
