day 221: let the surprise visit begin...

thanks for bearing with me as i've been out of the loop for well over a week! this time it wasn't because i was behind on work; i was intentionally laying low! i'd planned a SURPRISE visit back to the States to see my family for the thanksgiving holiday!

so saturday i got to meet with a friend for breakfast & then finish up a few necessary things before i boarded the 1st of 3 flights from cape town to dubai (9-hour flight)! needless to say, i got little sleep the night before & started the very long trip back to the US absolutely exhausted but so looking forward to the reunion to come! :)
