day 227: mountain traditions.

we drove back from my grandparents' home late thursday night & got up to head to the mountains in search of a Christmas tree the next morning. been a "tradition" of sorts as no matter where we've lived, we've found a place to cut our own fresh tree! nothing quite like the smell of a real one! :)
