tuesday was an absolutely packed day! physio is the morning & then off to run some errands - mainly, search for a new mattress as part of the whole "fix the back" situation!! found one we could pick up the next day! then was able to have a short team chat & time of PRAYer that afternoon before an amazing evening!
had a braai (cookout) at our team leader's home with one of the xhosa pastors with whom we are partnering. both he & his wife share such a sweet heart for youth & it was such a fun time with them & their kids. they brought with them one of the grade 7 learners from their church as well! sarah & i got the chance to sit & visit with the pastor's wife for a bit as she shared stories from her own life & i can't remember the last time i laughed so hard! :) even more incredible though was just the opportunity to talk further with them about vision & work in their community.
- PRAY with us for pastor "B" as we seek to start work in a high school in lower crossroads!
- PRAY for their marriage & family as they are busily leading a church, caring & providing for a family, working outside of the church, going to seminary, leading youth programs & starting ministry in the schools in jan/feb. 2013
