day 263-267: PRAY for the seniors!

had such an incredible time at camp, especially since i got to work with the oldest MKs last week in small group. such a cool time to connect with them, hear their stories, challenge their thinking & BE challenged by their depth of faith & love for our Savior at such a young age. convinced more & more that MKs are quite possibly the most mature kids on the face of the planet!
PRAY for this group, especially, over the next year or so as they make BIG decisions about the future - a daunting task for ANY student, but even more so for these. it was great to hear them share their excitement, fears & concerns about this the upcoming year or so. here's just a few specific [& very real] things that are weighing on their hearts. join me in lifting them up! :)

- PRAY as they seek the Lord's direction for college - study there in their respective countries? in the US? which college? (remembering that they can't just jump in the car & visit the campuses!)
- PRAY as most of them transition into the US life - which, for some, is far LESS familiar/"normal" than life in africa where they've been for so long
- PRAY for a good support system to surround them if they move to the US away from immediate family - to help w/ all the little things we take for granted (i.e., opening a bank account, getting a job, getting around without a car & no public transportation, figuring out how to pump their own gas IF they do have access to a car, getting used to the fast-pace of US life)
