day 332: PRAYer warriors, PLEASE READ NOW!

quick apology for falling behind in updates again before jumping into a HUGE PRAYer request! so much happening here these days. lots of really cool stories to share with you when time allows! for now though we are in the final days of prep before the spiritual leadership camp for ~40 xhosa youth from the area. if you've been following along w/ us during the 30 days of PRAYer, you know the Lord led today's post to read as follows:

DAY 14 Friday, March 8th: Safety & Protection

“I lift up my eyes to the mountains—where does my help come from?

My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.” -Psalm 121 

One of the New 7 Wonders of Nature is the majestic Table Mountain,
which can be seen from almost everywhere in the city of Cape Town.
Praise God for His beautiful creation.
Ask God to be our help in watching over & keeping everyone safe leading up to,
during and following the camp.

begging you to join us in PRAYer RIGHT NOW...
- PRAY for protection the FUGE team who's in the air right now as we speak headed our way. they are scheduled to land here in cape town tomorrow at 9:40pm (2:40 pm for those of you in SC). 
- PRAY for not one but TWO of the FUGE team members whose 1st flight was delayed. they missed connecting with the rest of the team in DC & the airline can't find another way to get them to cape town!
- PRAY for the health of all involved in camp. this week i was out for 4 days with a terrible stomach virus. 2 days in bed & 2 more days recovering/regaining strength & energy. today, several others on our team are not feeling well...one w/ tonsilitis & one simply utterly exhausted. GOD IS ABLE - HE is our STRENGTH!

our God is sovereign - none of these things coming as a surprise to Him. He orchestrated this partiuclar push for PRAYer on this particular day far in advance...because that's just the kind of God we serve! even in the midst of what seems like chaos, i fully believe that the enemy doesn't like what's stirring here in cape town. can't help but be PUMPED about what's in store next week...looking forward to sharing stories of HIS work in the days to come! thanks for lifting our arms in PRAYer (ex. 17:10-13 - CHECK IT OUT!) as we sleep & prepare for a new day!
