days 73 & 74: necessary shopping

both yesterday & today consisted of necessary shopping trips.
both took HOURS.

after our furniture arrived from johannesburg, we went through everything & noted what was missing. so yesterday we went shopping to pick up what was left.
2 stores + 1 traffic jam + 5.5 hours = successful day.

makes me miss wal-mart...seriously.

our week has been so crazy that today was the first time we really had to go grocery shopping. although we swore we'd never again go on a saturday...our cupbeards were bare so we had no choice. you'd think we were in the south (in the states) & the weathermen announced a "snow storm" was coming. but no, this is just a typical saturday in south africa.

i could sit down at any point & i'd be in someone's lap.
needless to say, after grocery shopping one MUST decompress.
SO glad that's over with...until next week! :)
