we taught 4 grade 7 LO classes at mzamomhle school & then had after-school girls' club with 27 young ladies. i absolutely loved the time i got to spend with my small group of 15 girls or so. i was overwhelmed with joy when a learner who i met & have been praying for by name since march of 2011 came & sat down next to me. she really opened up as we talked & was the first to step up as a leader in our group. it's so incredible to see how the Lord has grown her in just a little over a year.
also during that hour, i asked the girls what one thing they wanted me to know about them. one young lady's response? "you can know about me that i want to be loved & appreciated." PRAY for "z"today - that she would continue faithfully coming to club & that she would feel & come to know the love of Christ above all else!
at the end of the afternoon, we also got to share some love & warmth from the fairview baptist church volunteer team who was with us last week. they brought with them gloves + hand-made & prayed over hats. the girls squealed w/ excitement! :)
