after a few weeks off from school while the learners took exams & had their short holiday, we finally started back today to kick off the beginning of term 4! it was a long, but incredibly fun day :) GREAT to see the kids & teachers again!
the lesson in LO was all about temptation, choices & consequences. we played a game in class that required every student make a choice & then "suffer" the consequences of that choice (i.e., bark like a dog, act like a monkey, laugh uncontrollably, make silly faces, get a prize). great interactions & lots of laughter all around...even had the teacher stay in class all day & participate! :) HUGE answer to PRAYer there!
after-school club went really well, too. we spent some time just talking more personally with many of the kids about things they'd shared from their own lives. had many of the boys open up even more. starting to really see the Lord working on their hearts & in their minds. there is less teasing & fighting than before...& i can really begin to see them cultivating a genuine love for one another. He is so good! please continue PRAYing alongside of us for unity among these student leaders at xolani primary school! :)
