i really can't seem to express thanks enough to the Father, for sarah & i are incredibly blessed to be a part of such a loving, servant-hearted team. "team" doesn't really do it justice, though; i'm learning more everyday that we are a family - truly, the Body. we are both called & PRIVILEGED to live out the one another commands, side-by-side. i've never before seen acts 2:42-47 (the Church was devoted to the apostle's teaching, to fellowship, to the breaking of bread & to PRAYer - having all things in common, selflessly giving to those in need & praising God together!) played out in such a personal, tangible way.
today we met to discuss & PRAY over coffee (at the foot of THE gorgeous mountain) what seems like a THOUSAND things simultaneously going on. always an encouragement to my heart.
spent an hour or so with our supervisor just chatting & catching up since it's been FAR too long since we saw her last...also ALWAYS an encouragement to my heart!
came home to have some from the team join us to help do some repairs around the house - giving us time to hang w/ little "m." AGAIN, ALWAYS a fun time full of lots of laughs :)
& "broke bread" together tonight w/ our [stand-in] family as if we were one of their own. lots accomplished today...& even more to be thanking the Father for.
