day 176: "reunited & it feels so good!"

we had fun day with our friend from china in downtown cape town - at green market square. we shopped, bargained, talked to & joked with the vendors. ran into a lady i met in march 2011 when i came out with the FUGE team. she was standing at the same corner in front of the same paintings. when we talked last year, i gave her a new bible & she expressed that "nothing you could pay for any of my paintings would be worth more than this." yesterday i asked her if she remembered meeting me before. she stared intently at me & thought for a moment...then exclaimed, "the little chocolate Bible! oh i read it every night! THAT is where Life is found!"

i have to admit, i was skeptical & didn't think she'd remember. but, we had a great conversation & i fully believe the Lord is at work in her heart. mid-conversation her 2-year old walked over & i got to meet her. so precious. we exchanged information & she invited us to join her one sunday at her church. will be fun to spend some more time with "C" - who has absolutely no idea how the Lord used her to affirm my calling here.
