day 203: skimming the surface of spiritual gifts

we spent tuesday completely saturated with thoughts of spiritual gifts. we spent the morning at our team leader's home where we began searching the Scriptures & discussing together this idea of spiritual gifting. who has spiritual gifts? what are they? why are there so many? what's the purpose? you get the idea.

that afternoon we met with "T" at south africa's local starbucks (aka "mugg & bean") to go through the same material. i hope that in life i forever remain hungry to learn! & our goal here is to take what we've learned/are learning & to pass it on to others who will then [hopefully] do the same (ii tim. 2:2 - check it out!)! "T" is definitely one of those people!! PRAY that we will continue well in these efforts! PRAY that we will continue to keep our eyes open for other national partners. PRAY that T will be seeking out others with a similar heart & passion for young people so that more will come alongside & join in on what God's doing here among the xhosa youth!
