day 231: it's a jungle out there.
tuesday was a fun girls day...although shopping is FAR from one of my favorite activities! guess that just speaks volumes of what good company can do! :) spent the day with mom & 2 good friends! got a few comments from a salesman as we sported the winter attire & made quite the scene doubled over laughing at ourselves in the mirror. "now i've seen everything!" he commented. even more convinced that laughter (especially at oneself) is good for the soul. :)
had an interesting evening at dinner, too. overheard 2 young men debating politics, religion & the afterlife at a nearby table. i couldn't hear much as i was seated furthest from them, but sad nonetheless to face the reality that all across the world there are those searching for Truth but unwilling to accept it. one of my friends spent some time chatting with & challenging them. PRAY for them...& those with similar hearts!
