wednesday - friday was quite the blur.
wednesday was a hectic day as i ran what seemed like a thousand last minute errands & began the crazy process of packing, weighing my luggage, reshuffling stuff, repacking & reweighing it all! by the time thursday rolled around i only had to repack one more time!
spent the 1st part of thursday driving to atlanta & meeting up for lunch with my sister, niece & parents. headed to the airport soon after for "see ya laters!"
flew 2+ hours from ATL to JFK (new york), had a 3-hour layover & then flew through the night, 14 hours, to dubai. met a sweet indian lady in JFK who was having a similar problem as i was transferring from one flight to another. she, too, was headed for dubai. once things finally settled down we had a great conversation. now honestly, i'm not one to always seek out conversation with those in airports or with those i'm seated next to on planes, but the Lord used this trip back to teach me a huge lesson in having OPEN EYES.
got to hear my new friend's story & share about Jesus with her there in the terminal & more later on the plane. PRAY for "A" as spends the next month in india for a family wedding - that the Truth would continue to tug at her heart especially in the face of the hinduism with which she'll be surrounded. oh how heavy my heart was as she expressed, "i don't know what will happen after i die...i just choose not to think about it." PRAY she would grab hold of the hope that's found in our Savior.
