day 242-243: worthy of our praise!

finding it a bit difficult to get back into the swing of picture-taking here! promise to do better in the days to come! saturday was a fun day as sarah & i joined some others to "supervise" a grade 1 class at the beach. our friend, mentor & teammate (sheri) has been giving them swim lessons each week so the trip was a bit of an end-of-the-school-year celebration! fun to splash around with them! nothing quite like the joy of little ones in the water! got to have a great conversation with an older xhosa lady, the grandmother of one of the kids, too! PRAYing that no matter what our days entail, we have open eyes & willing hearts to pursue His purposes!

sunday was an incredible day as we worshipped with "t" & the rest of our langa baptist church family. great to be with her for a bit & a great time of worship, focused fully on offering the Lord the praise He alone is due! lots of great music & dancing, not to mention a wonderful message on the stance of our hearts! fun to begin to build relationships there & no longer be seen as the new, outsider/white person! :)
