day 241: "school's out for the summer!"

while our team has been out of the schools for awhile now (the kids have been taking exams...for weeks), the learners FINALLY got out for the summer on friday! yes, summertime is here my friends! schools are year-round & run jan-dec here...which makes way more sense to me than the way it goes in the states! with the weather warming, the sun rising earlier (5am) & setting later (7-8pm+), christmas around the corner & kids officially out of school - excitement is in the air for sure!!

so, sarah & i got to pick up little "m" from school & hang w/ her to celebrate! she literally RAN out of school & we took her to play mini-golf. she got a hole in 1 so we had to celebrate w/ ice cream! then spent some time at a nearby playground before heading to dinner with many from our team to celebrate a sweet sister's birthday! such a great day of fellowship & fun! thank You Daddy for days like this! :)
