day 307: mondays in 2013

with a new school year a few weeks underway, just wanted to take some time to paint a picture of what a typical week looks like for our team. hopefully, you can join us in PRAYing very specifically for the schools, churches, teachers, learners, pastors & nationals with whom we have the privilege of working.

on mondays, our team works in 2 different schools:

sarah & i are at xolani primary teaching 2 life orientation classes during school & doing some discipleship after school in the form of a leadership club.

1st two weeks of topics in our LO classes,
weaving in Scripture thru song where we can!

class #1 - 12:45-1:45pm

(34 grade 6 learners)

class #2 - 1:45-2:45pm

(36 grade 6 learners)

after-school club - 2:45-3:30

(22 grade 6 & 7 learners)

at the same time, bruce & sheri (our team leaders) teach 2 physical education classes with grade 10 learners at sophumelela high school. each class averages 40-45 learners. they also are working with the SCO (student Christian organzation) which meets to worship during their break time, with around 50 kids in attendance each week.
