spent close to 7 hours in the dubai airport attempting to sleep before my last 9-hour flight to cape town. feeling as though i was already about to fall over, i again really was not seeking out any in-depth conversations with the people around me. BUT, like i said - the Lord used the trip back to teach me an unforgettable lesson.

thank you dubai for "comfy" chairs... yes, serious napping went down. |
the first 3.5 hours in the air (and off & on all throughout the flight) i got to chat with, get to know & hear the incredible story of the lady i was seated next to. with her, again much like with "a" the night before, i had the opportunity to share about Jesus. her hunger for both hope & the Truth were so evident but her heart is hard towards the church. PRAY for an opportunity to share more with "M" as she will be in cape town for the next 3-months on holiday.
i was greeted at the airport by many of my good friends here. great to get to hug their necks & see their smiling faces! grabbed a shower, an unescapable short nap & then dinner with the team at one of their homes. needless to say, i was hardly functioning.
asleep by 9:30pm saturday night! caught up on sleep & things around the house (i.e., unpacking, emails, bills) today (sunday) before kicking it back into high gear tomorrow! thanks so much for your PRAYers for safe travels! great to see so many of you recently!
