days 311-313: PRAY for our 2013 weekends!

fridays & saturdays this year will be different week-to-week. ideally, we'd like to make home visits with our learners on these days; however, realisticially, it's a bit difficult as many are not home during these times. commnicating to set up times for visits is difficult as many do not have phones & those who do many times do not have airtime.

PRAY with us that the Lord would fling wide open doors into the homes of the learners & teachers with whom we work, no matter what day. it is in these times that relationships can move to a deeper level & we can more easily connect & delve into spiritual matters. PRAY that He'd give us open eyes to see those opportunities.

sundays, too, will vary week-to-week. for the most part, we intend to go between 2 main churches - one english-speaking & one xhosa-speaking. PRAY that no matter where we are & no matter what the language, we get caught up in true worship!

PRAY also that we would make good use of the time we have each week on these days to catch up on all the not-so-fun things that just have to be done (i.e., groceries, bills, various reports, prep for the following week)...but more importantly PRAY that we would find a bit of time to rest, relax & spend some in-depth quality time with Him. it's so easy to get caught up in working FOR Him that we miss out on time WITH Him. oh, how the enemy longs to distract. thank you so much for your PRAYers of protection over the whole team here in this way!
