day 76: semi-organized & sweet, sacrificial kiddos

we met today to discuss goal-setting for the upcoming year. then sarah & i decided we had NO IDEA what kinds of resources we had here at the apartment. we feel like we have stuff EVERYWHERE. the things we need for the next month are here...& then there's a ton more at the house we're moving into. so we unloaded what we had & attempted to organize!
yes, this is actually semi-organized!
i got a message from one of my sisters late in the evening. my 2 oldest nieces wanted to skype! so, i got online & they informed me of their plan:

the 2 of them built a road-side stand out of boxes from which they are selling any/everything they can (including but not limited to pictures they've drawn/colored). they're also collecting items to sell from the other neighborhood kids...& they wanted me to know the "proceeds" go directly to kids in south africa who don't have any water!

"aunt boo, we've already raised FOUR WHOLE DOLLARS!!"
$4 to a 7 & 5 yr. old = SACRIFICE.
faith like a child...gets me every time!
