so i have to apologize for the majority of december & january as i completely fell off the updating grid! but a huge THANK YOU to all of you who continued sending emails & texts of encouragement this way, asking if all was well here in cape town. while the learners were on their summer holiday (yes, summer!), life did not slow down one bit for us. honestly - i think it sped up! after returning from MK camp in johannesburg, we were blessed with...
a visit from a colleague we went through training with
who is working in another part of the country,
a visit from my parents & a few friends -
which was FULL of a ton of adventures
& fun memories!
They blessed us by working a TON on our house
(thank you so much College Street Baptist Church)...
& we had the privilege of introducing them to
our xhosa church & pastor...
our team family :) ...
a few of our sweet national friends & partners...
& (my favorite part)
even some of our students!
Needless to say, a great time was had by all. Thanking the Lord for His provisions to allow such a trip to be possible. Spent the rest of our holiday planning & preparing for the new school year - which started a few weeks ago - as well as camp which is coming up in about a month!!

Love this photo update! We were missing you!!! These pics are awesome. So glad you got some time with your parents. That pic of you and your Dad is especially beautiful.
