day 157: so i painted the yard.

what happens when you put two 20-something females in charge of a house & yard?? catastrophes, that's what! let's just say i'm learning to appreciate my dad more EVERY SINGLE DAY. i guess because of the rain & recent sunshine, our grass is needing to be cut almost every week. i really didn't know grass ever grew that quickly. so did i cut it today? no...but i did think about it. i even walked outside & looked at it thinking it wouldn't take that long. and in those few moments of contemplation i realized somewhere along the way we'd managed to paint the yard. how you do that without knowing it is beyond me. but, stranger things have happened.

spent the rest of the day outside celebrating the end [i hope] of winter #2! hoping i NEVER have to do that again! this summertime girl is about to go crazy!

a hammock + iTunes + lots of PRAYer time = great friday in the Son.
